Cookies and browser storage

Updated November 1, 2026

The website uses browser storage for sign-in, guest access, shopping preferences. This notice distinguishes cookies from local and session storage.

Language preference

bb_locale

A first-party cookie remembers your English or Spanish language choice for up to one year. You can change it using the language selector or remove it through your browser settings.

Guest access

bb_customer

A secure, HttpOnly cookie identifies the guest browser for orders and chat. It lasts up to 30 days and may be refreshed. Removing it can remove browser access to guest records.

Customer and administrator sign-in

Clerk and Cloudflare Access

The authentication providers use their own cookies to keep sign-in sessions and enforce access. Their duration depends on the sign-in configuration. Signing out ends the relevant session.

Cart

broken-boosting-cart-v1

Local storage keeps service selections and quantities in this browser until they are removed, submitted, or browser storage is cleared.

Guest favorites

bb-favorites-v1

Local storage keeps guest favorites in this browser. Signed-in favorites are stored against the customer account. Importing guest favorites is an explicit action.

Recent searches

bb-recent-service-searches-v1

Local storage remembers up to five submitted searches and their WoW versions. Use Clear history beside recent searches to remove them.

Chat drafts

bb-chat-draft:*

Session storage can preserve a chat draft and its retry reference in the current browser tab. A successful send clears the draft.

Managing your choices

You can clear recent searches, remove favorites and cart items, or sign out using the website controls. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies and stored site data. Blocking access cookies can prevent sign-in, checkout, or guest-order access. Save your order reference before clearing data.

Payment and sign-in pages operated by PayPal, Clerk, or Cloudflare may use additional storage governed by their policies. Contact support if you need help identifying a storage item.
